SCHOOL OF CONTINUING EDUCATION (SOCE)
PREAMBLE
The School of Continuing Education (SOCE) currently offers a variety of programmes in crafts and Information Technology (IT). The crafts programmes are offered in modules and after completing each module, students receive a Part Certificate in the program. After completing all the core modules satisfactorily, other supporting modules may be provided for after which a decision to offer a formal qualification in the programme may be made.
The IT programmes provide opportunity for progression into specialised professional certification in Operating Systems, Programming, Networking, Programmable Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity.
The aim of Programmes offered here has been to reach out to those who are unable to access full time study for a variety of reasons.
